“But what i paint with all my love and heart are the Himalayas, its people, culture and sights.”
— Pooja, from the story of Under the Bridge in NalhotaTwo worlds.
Many stories.
Some paintings begin with a journey. Others begin with a conversation, a cup of coffee, or a memory that refuses to fade.
Meet Pooja.
Pooja Matta is a Gurgaon-based artist working primarily in oils and acrylics. A Chartered Accountant by profession, she stepped away from her corporate career to pursue a longstanding passion for painting.
Her work moves between the Himalayan landscapes she loves and intimate everyday scenes inspired by relationships, memories and human connection.
